Founded in 2016, two weeks after Facebook announced the opening of its cutting-edge Messenger app to create chatbots services during the F8 conference in the US  – Abdallah Faza and Kais Hassan, decided to launch what in 2016, was as futuristic as flying police cars. Thanks to their ambition, vision and team spirit, arabot was on the roadmap to success.

How did you come up with the idea of creating a chatbot?

arabot was born two weeks after Facebook announced the opening of its Messenger platform back in 2016 at their annual Facebook F8 conference for developers and entrepreneurs who build products and services around the website.

arabot helps business partners build intelligent Arabic/English bots which are powered by Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies which automate business processes, reduce operational costs, and proactively help customers round-the-clock.

How has your business grown since the COVID-19 pandemic and what have you done to scale accordingly?

The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed many businesses to accelerate the adoption of digital technologies and automation to enable production.

As an integral part of our customers’ businesses, we have unique responsibility to ensure timely delivery of automation and AI technologies essential for the continuity of our customers’ businesses and the communities in which we serve.

What markets do you hope to enter in the next 12 months?

The chatbot market size is projected to reach $9.4 billion by 2024 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 29.7%. At arabot, we have already completed 20 million jobs for our customers, but now we hope to build partnerships across new sectors, such as banking, healthcare services, travel and hospitality. We are hoping to tap into a broader market and expand our operations to European and Asia-Pacific regions to provide large and small businesses with digital engagement and automated customer support.
