MZN x Hub71 Programme

The MZN x Hub71 Programme is a three-month programme delivered by Hub71 in partnership with Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, designed to support Emirati founders in transforming innovative ideas into market-ready minimum viable products (MVPs).

The programme is hosted at the newly launched MZN Hub in Al Ain, part of Khalifa Fund’s AI-driven ecosystem strategy, and sits under the Hub71 Initiate programme, supporting early-stage founders to develop scalable, homegrown startups.



Aligned with Abu Dhabi’s Falcon Economy vision for diversification, sustainability, and innovation, the MZN x Hub71 Programme combines hands-on training, expert mentorship, and access to a high-impact ecosystem to nurture the next generation of Emirati technology entrepreneurs.

    The MZN x Hub71 Programme is a three-month, idea-to-MVP journey designed to help Emirati founders turn innovative ideas into market-ready startups through hands-on training, mentorship, and ecosystem access.

    It’s built for early-stage Emirati founders who will be present at MZN Hub in Al Ain, receive practical guidance from experienced founders and industry leaders, and gain direct exposure to Hub71’s wider ecosystem and network.

    • Emirati founders with innovative ideas
    • Early-stage founders looking to build and validate an MVP
    • Founders with a strong learning mindset and commitment to building a scalable business
    • Teams or solo founders across technology, digital solutions, and advanced manufacturing

    No. You can apply with just an idea. Company incorporation is not required at the application stage. High-performing teams may receive support with incorporation during the programme.

    No. You do not need to code or have an MVP before joining. The programme is designed to help you validate the idea and build your first MVP.

    Yes. The programme is designed to be intensive and immersive. Founders are expected to participate in all workshops, mentorship sessions, and programme activities in person at MZN in Al Ain throughout the three-month duration.

    Yes. The MZN x Hub71 Programme is equity-free for all participants.

    Not all participants receive funding. At Demo Day, top-performing teams will be awarded in-kind incentives:

    • 1st place: AED 100,000
    • 2nd place: AED 60,000
    • 3rd place: AED 40,000


    These awards support early business and incorporation costs. Additional funding opportunities may follow through Hub71’s investor network.

    Yes. Solo founders are welcome to apply.

    Yes. Small teams can apply, as long as the core founder is an Emirati national and can commit fully to the programme.

    The programme is hosted at the MZN Hub in Al Ain, and founders are expected to attend sessions in person.

    We welcome ideas across technology, digital solutions, and advanced manufacturing, especially those aligned with Abu Dhabi’s innovation and diversification goals.

    • A clear problem worth solving
